Building a website can take a lot of time and money. The founders of NGINE have built hundreds of sites across all kinds of industries, from clothing to construction.

World class tools and software to grow your business

Launch and grow your business with expert tools and training

Running a business isn't easy. You'll need to manage payment processors, finance tracking, sales, marketing, customer support and more! We've already invested in leading software, used by thousands of businesses to help lighten the load and keep you focused on the most important parts of growing your business.

It costs tens of thousands to develop, but we pay for every young entrepreneur in the NGINE programme to get access to our software for free whilst you grow.

Mentorship to accelerate your learning and growth

Get your questions answered with access to successful mentors

Being the boss means constantly learning, making mistakes and working out how to fix them. NGINE projects will get access to at least one mentor that can help you navigate setting up and growing your business, so you can learn and grow faster.

You will still be the boss, which means your business is your responsibility, but your mentor can be there to advise, support and be a sounding board for you to bounce ideas off of. They've already learned from almost everything you will face starting up, so for every problem, they will be able to help you find a solution.

A network of like-minded people

If you have 5 successful friends, you'll be the sixth

Running your own business can sometimes be a lonely place. Late nights, head scratching problems and unexpected setbacks. Having a group of people that can relate to that can make the difference between an entrepreneur who quits, or who dusts themselves off and succeeds where others fail.

All entrepreneurs in the NGINE programme have access to each other, where you can share ideas, learn and get support from each other. You might find that you can collaborate to grow your own businesses too!

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you apply, take a look at some of the most common questions that we get asked...

Is this really free to join?

Yes, the NGINE programme was built to help young entrepreneurs and innovators to get the same support, knowledge and skills pursuing a business as they would do any other academic subject. So we don't charge successful applicants a penny for being a part of the programme until you make at least £100 in a month.

Once you're making £100 per month, then we charge £5 for that month. When you earn over £1000 in a month, that fee will rise to £30/month to help fund other opportunities for young business people. Considering the tools and guidance you're getting access to would cost thousands per month, we think that's a pretty fair deal.

However, because we invest a huge amount of time and money into each and every young business that we help launch, we will hold you accountable and will expect you to be consistently working on your business every week in addition to your school work to keep your eligibility for the programme.

If it is free to join, how is it funded?

The vast majority of our funding comes from the extreme generosity of our sponsors. Our sponsors are mostly other business owners who understand the financial, emotional and social difficulties that starting up a business can create and they want to help.

If you would like to become a sponsor and change a young person's life, then please get in touch or visit our sponsors page to find out more.

I'm over 21, can I still apply?

Unfortunately due the the high costs and large number of applications, you must be under 21 at the time of applying to be eligible for the NGINE programme. If you are over 21, we may still be able to help you get started at a discounted rate by referring you to one of our partners though, so get in touch!

How many people are in the programme?

At the moment we are going through a trial period, with each business taking a lot of time and money to launch, so we will be accepting a maximum number of 5 businesses into NGINE.

We hope to expand our support to more businesses in future, but to do that we need to secure more funding and more sponsors. If you would like to support us, please visit our sponsors page.

I've already applied, when will I hear back?

We aim to respond to all business applications within 2 weeks, however we personally look over every business plan and try to offer feedback to help young people wherever possible, regardless of whether you're accepted into NGINE, so sometimes this process can take longer.

Submit your business plan to apply

Please answer all questions about your business idea to the best of your ability.

We're interested in your ideas, so remember not to use AI to complete these questions for you.

We are not able to store contact details of people under 18. If you are under 18, please supply the email address of an appropriate adult for us to contact.
At the moment we can only accept submissions from entrepreneurs in Atherton, Manchester and surrounding areas
This can be changed later. Think about a name that's memorable, relevant, unique, easy to pronounce, trademark-free, domain-available, and resonates with your target audience and brand vision.
Identify your product or service. think about your passions, skills, how will you make a profit, who your customers will be, and how you uniquely solve their real problem.
Who will benefit most from your business? What are their age, location, goals, needs and pain points that you can help them with?
How will you help people to find your new business? Will you use social media? Flyers? Word of mouth? Think about how you can connect with potential customers and then how you convert them to paying customers/clients.
Think about equipment and other resources that you might need.
Who else offers competing services in your area already? How will you separate yourself from them?
Running a business is a lot of work. You can do it alone, or you might think about your weaknesses, who you can bring on to help and what their strengths are.
This should be realistic and well thought out.
